Jackson Racing have been a continuous presence in motorcycle racing paddocks since the 1970s when Alan Jackson senior won three consecutive World Formula Two Championships as well as four victories at the Isle of Man TT.
Son's Alan junior and Andy continued the dynasty with Alan winning the 2003 Isle Of Man TT 750cc Production class before going on to setting the outright lap record at the Manx Grand Prix in 2005, a record that stood for 10 years.
Following life changing injuries in 2006 Alan jnr then turned his attention to running Jackson Racing, a motorcycle road racing team that has gone from strength to strength working with some of the best riders in the sport.
James Hillier started his TT career with the team when he was awarded the best Newcomer Award and has since gone on to win and record TT podiums. Other notable team riders include multiple TT winners John McGuinness and Ian Lougher, TT podium finishers Conor Cummins and Dan Kneen as well as 2015 British Superbike Champion Josh Brookes and Steve Mercer.
In 2019 Jackson Racing teamed up with the young up and coming road race sensation and Manxman Nathan Harrison. He went on to win the Junior & Senior Manx Grand Prix on an adapted Jackson Racing prepared machine with right hand gear change as used and developed by Alan Jnr, he has gone from strength to strength on the pure road circuits making him hot property for future years.
Along with road racing the team have experience competing at world championship level in the FIM Endurance World Championships with support from Honda Motor Europe and enjoy a continued close working relationship with specialist tuning house Ten Kate Honda.
In 2022-2023 seasons they entered the BSB paddock with C&L Fairburn to contend the BSB Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship, and are extremely proud of Billy McConnell and the team, finishing second in the 2022 championship.
